LIFE ASAP: Methodologies for youth engagement in urban climate policy

Published in 2026 within the framework of the LIFE ASAP project, this document presents a practical methodology for engaging young people in local climate action, developed and tested across several Portuguese municipalities.
The brochure builds on a series of participatory workshops and dialogues between young people and local decision-makers, promoted by WWF in partnership with municipalities and other stakeholders. It brings together key steps, recommendations, and lessons learned to support the replication of similar participatory processes, fostering active citizenship and youth involvement in public policy.
